Our priority is that you have the best possible experience with us at The Glamour Room, which is why we have reviewed our patch testing policy to protect you, our guests, and to make things better for us all long-term.

Patch testing is an important process we need to follow for your health and safety before any lash or brow tinting treatments to minimise the risk of an allergic reaction. It also demonstrates our commitment to our professionalism within our business and raising the industry standards.

With this in mind, we have made some changes to our patch testing policy. Here is what you need to know:

  • Patch tests are required prior to your first treatment with us and those returning after 6 months.

  • The patch test will be applied on the inside of the arm and covered with micropore tape and must be left on the skin for 48 hours.

  • A new patch test must be carried out if there are any changes to your medical history.

  • COVID19 is a change in medical history, if you have had the virus you must come in for a new patch test.

  • After having your COVID19 vaccination, you must wait 2 weeks before having a patch test or treatment.

  • Any changes at the site of the patch test or if an allergic reaction occurred, this must be reported to us asap.

You do not need to book to have a patch test, just pop in during our opening hours and we will record this on your personal profile.
